    UNICEF PFP is expanding the scope of its corporate engagement and strategizing a comprehensive global approach to maximize and grow its partnerships with corporates. Using the standard and custom objects of the Sales Cloud platform, PFP has developed the core processes, called UNISON, of managing corporate relationships and tracking of corporate engagement, both financial and non-financial across constituents worldwide. This approach to business has been reiterated in the Business for Results framework.

    These core processes include the two phases of the corporate due diligence: the first phase refers to the screening of the company against exclusionary criteria and is performed for any account regardless of the type of engagement, and the second phase consists of assessing the company’s performance, sustainability, and potential risks related to the type of engagement. As functional improvements have emerged and recognized, gaps have been identified, and business requirements arise, some enhancement and additional functionalities are essential to streamline the flow of information throughout the corporate engagement life cycle.

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    In order to support the development of enhancement and additional functionalities on UNISON platform defined in the UNISON Report and Project Plan document dated 22 November 2019 (the “Project Document”), UNICEF is looking for a part-time Consultant with a specialized expertise on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud implementation.

    Under the supervision of the Chief of Information and Communications Technology for PFP Geneva and with the coordination of the UNISON Project Manager, the Consultant will be responsible for translating the business requirements into technical design and configuration of the Sales Cloud platform (and its components) supporting UNISON.

    The Consultant assignment will work closely with the UNISON Project Manager, business stakeholders, platform vendor, and technical team (ICT resources, integration developer, Salesforce support resources, contracted providers of salesforce apps) in developing of the technical solution and the implementation of the requirements in a timely and satisfactory way.

    MAIN TASKS

    In coordination with the UNISON Project Manager, Consultant is expected to conduct the following main activities:

  • gather and review the business requirements and prioritize the development of deliverables as per the project plan;
  • translate the business requirements into functional specifications, and maintain these specifications in DevOps;
  • perform the design of the solutions, configuration, validation and unit testing in development environment;
  • coordinate with the project technical team on

  • the development of test scenarios and lead the user acceptance activities;
  • the management of production deployment phases;
  • the provision of hypercare support for functions newly deployed to ensure key issues are documented, validated and addressed in a timely manner;
  • the hand-over of operational support to the ICT Application support team;
  • Work closely with the project technical team to identify, validate, and develop integration requirements with partner’s CRM platforms and other back-end systems, and translate the requirements into integration process and designs, and coordinate the implementation activities;
  • Support the evaluation and selection of Salesforce Apps wherever applicable, and coordinate the implementation and support;
  • Coordinate the development of user training materials and tools, and support the provision of user training;
  • Support the development of change management processes and coordinate the implementation of related tracking activities;
  • Provide business-as-usual support in data management, regular health check and performance review;
  • Maintain configuration item in DevOps and track related changes, and alert the supervisor for any conflicts affecting processes, security, or performance;
  • Coordinate with Salesforce support resources and Salesforce developer to exploit the latest features and identify best practices to enable process improvement, operational efficiencies, and positive user experience;
  • Participate in relevant meetings and workshops, and provide technical advices and expertise for improvement, risk or opportunities;
  • DELIVERABLES

  • Collection of technical documents covering, but not limited to, the followings:

  • Functional specifications, business rules and processes related to multi-currency framework, and community apps and portals;
  • Technical specifications for triggers, workflows, rollup, validation rules, process builder and other scripts to update and sync records;
  • User acceptance test scenarios, deployment package and change management process;
  • Design and specifications of integration with back-end systems and partner’s CRM platform;
  • Technical documentation of platform environment, configuration, customization and integration with other systems;
  • Regular and on-demand updates and reports to the UNISON Project manager and Steering Committee;
  • ESTIMATED DURATION OF THE CONTRACT AND PROPOSAL

  • 11.5 months, tentatively starting Jan 2020. 10 working days per month.

  • Flexible, with visits to PFP Office in Geneva and other offices as required.

  • Master’s degree in information systems, engineering or equivalent with professional work experience in ICT project management preferably in business applications. A first-level university degree with additional qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree;
  • Overall 7 years of relevant professional experience, in the areas specified below;
  • Demonstrated ICT project management experience with attention to detail and track record of delivering against objectives – deployment experience linked to introduction of new applications and ICT infrastructure is a mandatory requirement;
  • Experience working within standard Systems Development Life Cycle practices;
  • Proven experience in administrative aspects of Salesforce platforms for Enterprise edition or higher, with experience in full lifecycle implementation of Salesforce platform – candidate must have demonstrated experience implementing 3 projects in Salesforce and 2 as a leading member of a project implementation team;
  • Solid knowledge on lightning design, security and access control in Salesforce;
  • Proven experience integrating Salesforce platform with other CRM, and back-end legacy systems and custom applications;
  • Experience with large and small-scale application in SaaS architecture;
  • Experience performing the following tasks:

  • Developing insights on complex business processes and solutions;
  • Developing tasks order and assessing statement of work;
  • Data cleansing and importing large volumes of data;
  • Creating and managing complex workflow rules, process builders, data validation and system triggers;
  • Managing multiple user security setup profiles, roles, etc.
  • Evaluating and managing the integration of Salesforce Apps;
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate with salesforce developer, other ICT managers and developers, and business partners in providing strategic solutions and constructive feedback;
  • Experience with project implementation in a non-profit sector;
  • Understanding of corporate engagement and fundraising dimensions within or outside of UN / UNICEF is an asset;
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a multi-skilled team with technical and non-technical members to deliver appropriate results;
  • Fluency in English is a requirement and knowledge of French would be an asset.
