    •  Directly supports the YLP, by following up on implementation of the SDG Camps initiative, coordinating with partners and UNDP Country Offices, accessing regional networks, creating linkages and providing technical support.                                                                                                               
    •   Facilitates the delivery of YLP activities by monitoring results achieved during implementation. S/he supports the timely preparation and quality control of all substantive technical reports, briefs and required documents, including progress reports, concept notes, background documents and briefing notes.
    • Works closely with the country office programme and project staff in the development of project activities to promote youth’s empowerment and inclusion in Tunisia. Provides technical support in the elaboration and implementation of a UNDP Tunisia Youth Strategy aligned to the UN 2030 Youth Strategy and the UNDP Strategic Plan. S/he will collect information on activities and corresponding results in order to document good practices and define synergies among UN/DP progarmmes and projects
    •  Within the framework of the SDG Integration and Innovation unit works closely with Accelerator Lab and ensures promotes the mainstreaming of youth in its work. S/he will also promote the adoption of innovative techniques (design thinking, artificial intelligence, behavioural insights…) in UN/DPs work related to youth empowerment and inclusion.
    • Identify and define the partnership opportunities with relevant national and development partners to promote youth inclusion
    •  Supports the generation, management and dissemination of knowledge related to UNDP activities on youth empowerment and inclusion through the production of different knowledge products (briefs, concept notes, blogs, social media articles) and participation in national and global networks and events
    • Expected to submit report at the end of the year to supervisor and the Regional YLP Coordinator.
    •    Captures stories which reflect on know how (procedures, processes, tactics) and know why (lessons learned, reasons for failures/success).
    • Coordinates the youth’s leadership programme’s mentorship support, where relevant.
    •   Develops general tools/guidelines for operative communication measures at regional/national/local levels, for instance press releases, social media, press events, social media and campaigns.
    • Carrying out other tasks as assigned by Regional Coordinator in coordination with respective supervisor, and any other required administrative work.
    • Highly motivated, pleasant character with good team work spirit; 

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; 

    • Available for long working hours during times of peak work. 

    • Proficiency of Arabic and French languages is a must

    • Good knowledge of the English language 

    • Strong writing skills

    • Ability to accommodate and adapt to changing working environment. 

    • Systematic and organized, with an ability to be flexible and adaptive. 

    • Ability to perform a variety of standard tasks related to screening and collecting of project documentation, projects data entering, preparation of revisions, filing, provision of information, and reporting. 

    Highly motivated, pleasant character with good team work spirit; 

    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; 

    Available for long working hours during times of peak work.

    • License  degree or bachelor degree in a development-related field such as international relations, international law, sociology, public administration, public policy and public relations or any related field.
    • At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
    • Experience on youth engagement and inclusion
    • Experience on the 2030 Agenda and SDGs would be an advantage
    • Written and oral French and Arabic communication skills, English is an asset.
    • Advanced computer skills, including word processing (Word), spreadsheet (Excel) and data management programmes, and ability to quickly learn new applications.
