    Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Experts

    Monitoring and Evaluation and Third-Party Monitoring Experts for Programs and Activities funded by various clients and partners.

    Location: Washington, D.C. with an estimated 50% travel,

    Activities include monitoring and evaluations tasks, strategic analyses, and sectoral and cross sectoral assessments, all within the humanitarian sectors of interventions including public health, WASH, Agriculture, Shelter, Livelihoods, Cash Based programming, Information Management, Governance, Economic Growth.

    The successful candidates will have the following qualifications:

    · Degree in business administration, economics, finance, public health, agriculture, public policy, law or related field; Master’s degree or other advanced degree strongly preferred

    · Experience with USAID/OFDA, DOS/NEA/PRM, DFID, EC and/or any other international donor required

    · Between 5 and 10 years of experience evaluating development projects, developing evaluation design and/or managing M&E projects required

    · Demonstrated experience in leading rigorous impact evaluations and assessments, statistical and econometric analysis, and survey design and data collection

    · Experience conducing monthly assessments, reporting and follow up

    · Expertise in evaluation of humanitarian sectors, agriculture, food and non food items, democracy and governance, education and/or social inclusion programs desired

    · Proven experience working with a diverse group of stakeholders, including donor/development organizations, government officials, civil society leaders, community leaders, and project beneficiaries

    · Exceptional organizational skills and ability to work independently and effectively within tight deadlines

    · Experience building organizational capacity in monitoring and evaluation and/or training individuals in monitoring and evaluation desired

    · Fluency in written and spoken English required,.
