Where you come in:

In this full-time permanent position, based in Carlton*, you will ensure accurate reporting of monthly and annual results and a robust control environment. You’ll also work on a range of financial and management accounting activities and generate improved financial procedures. You will be part of our Finance and Support Services team and report to our Financial Controller.

You will make an impact by:

  • Leading the preparation of the annual financial statements and other regulatory reporting as part of the Financial Control team
  • Working with our Finance Business Partners to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for donors and programs
  • Supporting a robust internal control framework and monitoring the effectiveness of internal controls over financial risks
  • Actively reviewing and assessing the suitability of financial accounting processes and tools, and implementing improvements where identified

This role requires:

  • A CA or CPA membership
  • Significant experience in a similar finance role
  • Demonstrated experience in preparation of consolidated Financial Statements
  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment and to strict deadlines
  • A strong understanding of financial internal control frameworks
  • A curious mindset, constantly looking to develop yourself and others
