QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Skills and Experience: At least 4 years’ experience in advertising, communications, media management, event management, marketing, public relations, or any related field. Overseas work experience is preferred.
Education: Bachelor Degree in communications, arts, fine arts, or any related field. Overseas study experience is preferred.
Communication and Technical Skills
· Multimedia Producer/Film making
· Photography
· Experience developing content strategy for cause related organisations.
· Excellent English and Myanmar writing skills, with experience writing case studies for development.
· Ability to speak confidently in front of the media, donors and senior staff
· Ability to deliver key messages to the media
· Good eye for page layouts and graphic design
· Excellent experience developing and implementing social media strategies.
· Good understanding of the key components in brand management
· Excellent personal organisational skills, including time management, and ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
· Willingness to travel to field offices and work in difficult environment according to travel requirements
Management:
· Ability to manage small teams and work across a variety of internal stakeholders.
· Good people management skills/experience and proven ability to create an environment, which encourages team working and motivates a team across various geographical areas.
General:
· Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation developing effective working relationships to deliver outstanding results for children
· Commitment to and understanding of Save the Children’s aims, values and principles.
