    • Coordinate institutional relations with the Supreme Council of Ajara, including its members and staff and serve as a liaison between the Council and the project and where required, UNDP Country Office;
    • Implement project tasks and activities towards achieving the outputs and targets set under the project Outcome 2 and ensure regular communication and reporting to the project team in Tbilisi;
    • Provide analytical support to the Project Manager in the on-going project planning and implementation activities related to the Supreme Council; 
    • Liaise and gather feedback relevant for the Supreme Council’s institutional development from different stakeholders, including civil society organizations; identify issues and emerging needs/challenges for the project’s potential intervention;
    • Support and facilitate the work of short-term national and/or international project consultants and/or companies hired to provide targeted support to the Supreme Council; support the Project Manager in the development of respective terms of references, Requests for Proposal (RfPs), etc.;
    • Regularly monitor the implementation of the activities facilitated by the project’s responsible party – IDFI; where required, provide guidance and advice during the process;
    • Engage in the preparation of the knowledge-materials produced by the project for the Supreme Council;
    • Contribute to donor progress reports, more particularly, assist the Project team in the preparation of the six-month, interim/annual and final reports (narrative); when required, participate in the Project Board meetings to present the implementation of activities under Outcome 2 and share the plans for the next period;
    • Identify follow-up actions and submit them for consideration to the Project team;
    • Support the Project team in the preparation of the Annual Work Plans and Quarterly Plans if required;
    • Support the project team in preparation of informational materials related to the project activities, such as presentations, briefers for public events and other;
    • Perform any other duties and responsibilities required within the project.

    • Ability to lead formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of development programmes and projects.
    • Master’s degree in law, public policy/administration, management or related field (minimum qualification requirement).
    • At least 5 years of working experience in good governance and/or development fields at the government institutions, non-governmental and/or international organizations in a capacity of a senior-level staff or expert/consultant.
    • Excellent Georgian language skills (both written and verbal);
    • Excellent English skills (both written and verbal).
