    Do you have experience of working in programmes of transforming masculinities, community psycho-social support and conflict transformation? Have you lead conflict transformation programme in conjunction with peacebuilding?

    We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Peacebuilding Technical Lead to work in consortium with Relief International, Food for the Hungry for the anticipated Food for Peace (FFP) programme in Upper Nile region. Within the consortium, the Peacebuilding Technical Lead will be responsible in overseeing the delivery of the social cohesion element of the programme incorporating work on transforming masculinities, community level psycho-social support and conflict transformation.

    The successful candidate will have:

    • Qualification and experience in leading conflict transformation, peacebuilding and/or mediation
    • Substantial work experience in supporting community – based peacebuilding or conflict transformation initiatives
    • Experience of conducting conflict analysis and conflict sensitivity assessments, experience of project managing donor-funded programmes.
    • Experience in team/staff management both directly and remote, a good understanding of peacebuilding context specific dynamics and conflict transformation issues in South Sudan.
    • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the local contexts and sensitivities and previous direct coordination skills.
    • Previous experience managing conflict transformation, peacebuilding initiatives or mediation in South Sudan or similar context.

    N.B. This is a 2 year fixed term role. Interviews will be held the week commencing the 20th of January 2020.
