    Role Purpose:

    You will be responsible for ensuring implementing M&E framework to ensure programme quality and accountability through efficient and effective planning, coordination, and review of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities. This will be done in line with SEMA’s strategies, policies and procedures as well as the project design. You will also be responsible for the coordination of the collection of monitoring information, and performing their responsibility in collaboration with programs team.

    Main Duties and Responsibilities:

    · Collecting relevant data from the field effectively, analyzing and reporting them.

    · Ensures the monitoring data is properly analyzed and available to the program team, for reports and future strategic orientations;

    · Assists M&E Coordinator in designing, coordinating and conducting project monitoring and evaluations.

    · Provides relevant and timely data analysis of project;

    · Provides weekly and monthly M&E Reports, which recommendations will contribute to measuring and strengthening program delivery.

    · Updates the existing M&E plan for the base, ensuring relevant information would available in a timely manner on both qualitative and quantitative aspects;

    · Audit the accuracy of information being provided and follow up on any discrepancy to ensure corrective action is taken in a timely manner;

    · Supports project managers in the implementation of monitoring and evaluation processes;

    · Conducts / contributes to situational and technical assessments, research briefs and other learning tools.

    · Prepares and provide line manager with monthly statistical data and analysis;

    · Provides monthly feedback at field level on the information collected by the M&E team;

    · Contributes to the programs department to produce project’s reports by providing relevant data;

    · Provides monitoring reports according to the M&E Plan.

    · Provides training and coaching to the team.

    · Trains the volunteers and interns on M&E process.

    · Contributes to the continuous improvement of SEMA’s quality of work.

    · Promotes and model a positive, professional and respectful office culture. Any other duties assigned by line manager when required

    Qualification, Experiences and Competencies:

    · A Bachelor degree (preferably from a recognized university with at least 2 years of experience in a similar position and duties in NGOs or INGOs

    · Data analysis skills using analysis software such as Power BI, SPSS

    · Competed in using mobile data collection (tools design – data collection – data retrieving – cleaning and analysis).

    · Competed in conducting surveys, assessments, monitoring & evaluation activities.

    · Ability to take initiative and work without supervision.

    · People management skills that include diplomacy

    · Ability to work with diverse people, communities, and cultures, with an understanding of cultural awareness practices.

    · Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint),

    · Excellent communication skills

    · Unique LSRW skills of both English and Arabic.
