The Role

We are looking for livelihoods and cash operations coordinator to provide technical support to teams in the operations and implementation of Livelihoods & cash programs, coordinate with consortium, and implementation of cohesive strategies for the use of cash and other resources to achieve programme objectives, across the whole of Iraq.

What we are looking for

Our next livelihoods and cash operations coordinator will require;

Essential – Experience, Knowledge, Qualifications & Competencies

· Graduate in Humanitarian, Development Studies, Economics, Sociology or any related field. Experience could substitute for a formal qualification, but not vice versa.

· Minimum 5 years in similar positions/experience (programme support, field-experience) including a variety of cash modalities, i.e., multi-purpose cash assistance, cash for work, vouchers and large-scale cash distributions.

· Previous working experience with Oxfam or international/non-profit organizations in conflict settings.

· Completion of CALP Training Levels 1 & senior program managers training

· Strong communication and presentation skills including the ability to document case studies, write guidelines, and develop and communicate standard operating procedures relevant to each context and operating environment.

Desirable

· Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relations with multicultural and diverse teams, including working with partner organizations.

· Experience of capacity building of staff (with or without line management responsibility), including the ability to effectively advice and support field staff using methods such as mentoring, coaching, shadowing, demonstration, accompaniment, training, written advice, verbal advice, research and development.

· Working experience in Middle East.
