RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and/ or apply consistently the graphical design of external communications and knowledge products, including:
Flyers, posters, brochures, publications, etc.Infographic products and illustrationsVisibility products for partners meetings, conferences, and workshopsAnnual report (infographics showing activities, annual human resources statistic, security statistic, finance statistic, and data)Capacity assessment and planning outputs (i.e. reports, plans, summaries, briefing documents)Static and interactive dashboards and infographics
Create and/ or apply consistently the graphical design of internal communications and knowledge products, including:
Generic PPT presentationsTemplates for official letters, emails, donor proposals, terms of reference, meeting minutes, talking points/ briefs for senior management, etc.Communication strategies/ guidance for events
Develop an illustration data library Contribute to the design and update of the iMMAP website working closely with the website development team:
Update pages with new materials developed
Design interactive maps
Design interactive and appealing headers, graphics and other visual elements
Develop graphics and visual elements
QUALIFICATIONS
4 years of experience, in the non-profit or private sectorKnowledge of humanitarian and aid development sector is an assetAbility to understand the scope of work of iMMAP and develop products accordingly: Flyers, posters, photography products, infographics, reports, etc.Ability to visualize data and transform it into visually appealing infographicsAbility to develop a creative strategy and work accordinglyCreative and proactive mindsetFull command of adobe suite, especially adobe Illustrator, InDesign, PhotoshopKnowledge of web management and several CMS, such as Word pressAbility to work proactively even at times of low supervisionAbility to copy write is an assetAbility to create animations is an assetExcellent English command, able to understand complex instructions at times
LINE MANAGEMENT
The iMMAP Infographic expert will work under the direct supervision of the iMMAP Communications and Outreach Manager.
Personnel is expected to conduct itself in a professional manner and respect local laws, customs and iMMAP s policies, procedures, and values at all times and in all Countries.
