ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified candidates for the position of Senior Laboratory Advisor for a comprehensive, multi-year U.S. government-supported HIV/AIDS care and treatment support program focused on the north regions (Adamawa, North, Far North) of Cameroon.

The Senior Laboratory Advisor reports to the ICAP Cameroon Technical Director and s/he is expected to be based in Ngaoundere, Adamawa region.

Successful candidates will hold an advanced degree in laboratory sciences or related field, be proficient in English and French (proficiency in Fulani preferred), a very good working knowledge of the Cameroon health system and associated laboratory networks and possess at least 8 years of experience in HIV-related clinical laboratory technology applications and the provision of laboratory-based technical assistance and support in resource-limited settings.

The position is contingent upon availability of grant funding.
