Position at Ashoka

Description:
This intern will be responsible for improving the transparency of Ashoka partnerships, past and present as well as improving the systems we use to track and generate partnerships. They will create weekly reports for our finance leadership and monthly fundraising reports for a broader audience. The intern will be responsible for tracking news on external partners and compiling a newsletter digest for Ashoka staff members with opportunities for outreach. Finally, the intern will compile case studies on past partnerships in a format to be accessible to all Ashoka staff and easily modified to present externally.

Core Projects:

  • Improve transparency around revenue and fundraising through regular written and verbal reports presented at various team meetings. Ensure data accuracy for large partnerships and improve training processes around Salesforce
  • Conduct research on fundraising leads and map key contacts to salesforce
  • Support Partnership Management team in tracking activities towards KPIs
  • Develop concise case studies to communicate the impact of previous partnerships

Skills and Qualifications

  • Exceptional organization and communication skills
  • Exceptional written communication skills
  • An aptitude for customer service and internal communications technology such as Confluence and Salesforce CRM
  • Past experience with Salesforce is an asset but not required
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and innovate effectively in a fast-paced, unstructured environment
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office
  • Fluency in English
  • Be visionary and strategic with a strong attention to detail
  • Personable and interacts well with co-workers, partners and the entire Ashoka community
  • Strong intellectual curiosity, entrepreneurial spirit and demonstrated commitment to social change

Time Commitment: Flexible. The ideal candidate would start at the beginning of October and stay through December 2020 with approximately 12-20 hours per week.
