Timely provision of IT services and IT support as described, including: a-Facilitated the setup of all IT equipment at the meeting venue (CICG), as per instructions, with all devices functional and operational for use by staff and delegates. b. Temporary network infrastructure required for the meetings in CICG is configured and fully functional. c. IT equipment is maintained and kept in working condition thought the meetings at the venue. d. Successfully provided support, in a timely manner, to staff and delegates with regards to IT related issues e. Facilitated the dismantling and repackaging of all IT equipment per instructions, ready to be dispatched by transportation company. f. Kept the intranet platform functional and up to date.

Duties and Responsibilities

The ISP secretariat is organizing the 1st Plenary ISP meeting at the CICG from the 1-6 February 2026 and INC is organizing INC 5.3 on the 7 February 2026. The consultancy is to assist the ISP-CWP and INC Secretariats in the preparation for, and at the ISP-CWP P1 and INC 5.3 meetings to be held in Geneva, Switzerland, consecutively from 1 to 7 February 2026. The consultancy services will provide effective IT service geared to the successful outcomes of the two meetings. The consultancy services will: a. Provide support for maintenance of IT equipment throughout the CICG venue during the meetings, for tasks such as malfunctioning laptops/desktops and peripherals, changing of toner and ink cartridges, connection, and login issues for laptops/desktops. b. Assist staff members and delegates to resolve IT related issues thought the meetings in a timely manner, upon their request or the request of other staff members. Assist in the distribution of spare laptops as temporary replacements. c. Assist in updating and maintaining the meeting intranet platform.

Qualifications/special skills

The consultant should have at least seven years of experience in the technological support for international meetings, specifically through the provision of a specially designed intranet system; excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team. Qualifications in computing/information technology with a corresponding suitable proven professional experience is required.

Languages

English and French are required; knowledge of other UN languages is an asset.
