The International Institute for Human Security is peacebuilding NGO focused on advancing key areas of human security known as Societal Stabilizers through knowledge sharing. The International Institute for Human Security focuses on key societal stabilizers related to dignity and equality and include: Good Governance and Organizational Transparency, Women, Migrants & Victims of Modern Day Slavery, Food and Environmental Sustainibility, The Responsibility to Protect, Climate Protection and Indigenous Liberties. The Insitute focuses on six regions: North America, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, East Africa, West Africa (Francophone) and South Asia.

Serving as Volunteer Social Media Specialist, you will develop content for all social media platforms and execute the social media strategy including campaigns.

Competencies include:

· Excellent writing, proofreading and copywriting skills

· Interest and background in international affairs, human rights, and personal passion toward one of the six focus areas

· Strong work ethic and professionalism (ability to meet deadlines and reliability a must)

· Bilingual in French or Arabic considered a bonus

· Experience and/or desire work with international remote team
