UNICEF works in some of the world’s toughest places, to reach the world’s most disadvantaged children. To save their lives. To defend their rights. To help them fulfill their potential.
Across 190 countries and territories, we work for every child, everywhere, every day, to build a better world for everyone.
And we never give up.
For every child,hope
To deliver results for children, UNICEF engages in public and private partnerships with governments, NGOs, civil society, corporations, and individual donors. In addition, UNICEF works with media to communicate and provide visibility to issues related to children’s rights and wellbeing at local and international levels.
The Private Fundraising and Partnerships Division (PFP), the National Committee Standing Group (SG), and the UNICEF Regional Office for West and Central Africa (WCARO) have agreed to provide interested UNICEF and National Committee staff with short-term assignments in WCARO or country offices in the region. These assignments will enable those National Committee personnel to support a number of areas in the region within different programmatic or functional areas, while providing opportunities for professional growth and development.
How can you make a difference?
You will support the office’s communications, partnerships and/or resource mobilization programmes. This may include development of strategies, creation of communication materials and campaigns, engagement with current and potential partners, and preparation of donor reports.
