Dexis Professional Services is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to support USAID/Mozambique/IHO. This position is part of the Southern Africa Mission Support (SAMS) contract and is a 4-6 month consultancy.The position will be based in Maputo, Mozambique, and the start date is immediate.

Responsibilities:

Draft and complete documents to create, classify, and recruit staff positions in the Mission. This will or may entail coordination with technical offices, support offices, the Mission Front Office, HCTM, Africa Bureau, and HRSU.Provide guidance on the recruitment process for new or newly vacated positions, including obtaining needed Mission, Embassy, and USAID/Washington clearances.

Verify positions to be recruited, provide guidance on the development or revision of position descriptions and other required documents to initiate the employment process, draft solicitations and position announcements for review and approval by the EXO/IHO, and guide selection processes.**Responsibilities:

Bachelors degree in relevant field

5 years of experience in Human Resources, Recruitment, or Administration.

Oral and communication skills, including identifying and articulating personnel gaps and translating into written requirements.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.

Familiarity with USAID and its recruitment mechanisms and selection criteria.

Fluency in English, Portuguese language skills a plus.

Abiilty to obtain USAID facilities and system access.

Ability to complete FACT training. **
