    Syria Relief & Development (SRD) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing humanitarian aid to Syrians affected by violence, hunger, poverty, injury and displacement. Our Mission is to provide crisis humanitarian relief and plant the seeds of sustainable development for the people of Syria. Our Vision is to maintain humanitarian relief and mobilize resources to develop a comprehensive agenda for sustainable development in Syria.

    Main Objectives of this Position:

    Ø Act as a focal point for sourcing related matters including National/International recruitment process in Turkey.

    Ø Support the HR Focal points in Syria in all recruitment processes ensuring best practices are followed remotely

    Ø Ensure that personnel files are complete and managed in a confidential manner

    Ø Update the Organograms as required and ensure proper procedure of revising organograms is in place.

    Ø Managing employment contracts, ensure that consultancy and staff guidelines are fully adhered during the hiring process.

    Ø Ensure good quality inductions process are in place and completed across the whole program.

    Ø Preparation of payroll by ensuring accuracy, consistency and its timely processing.

    Ø Ensure that all staff submit their timesheets in a timely manner; ensure the timesheets are properly filed for audits

    Ø Ensure that exiting staff are paid their terminal benefits in a timely manner

    Ø Ensure HR records are filed systematically and ensure confidentiality

    Ø Advice Manager Day to day interpretation and implementation of HR policies

    Ø Proactively manage the relationship with all managers, and drive implementation of key people strategies and solutions.

    Ø Ensure that capacity building plans and performance management systems are in place to develop the requisite competencies in staff and ensure ongoing sustainability and quality of our work

    Ø Contribute to the development and review of HR policies, procedures, guidelines and business processes, to ensure that everything we do is efficient, cost effective and legally compliant.

    Ø Consult with the recognized employment bodies, HR Working Group on employment advice and related matters.

    Ø identification of strategies and formulation of policies that promote and not limited to reward and compensation, employee retention, succession planning; workforce planning; career progression, among others.

    Required Skills :

    · A degree in business Administration, or related degree;

    · Minimum 4 years’ experience working in the field of human resources or related field;

    · Previous experience in working with INGO,NGO is desirable

    · Confident communicator, excellent negotiations skills;

    · Very well organized and with good reporting skills;

    · Able to work under pressure;

    · Works well in teamwork, flexible and willing to learn

    · Good Computer skills: MS Word and Excel

    · Fluency in English and Arabic required
