Reporting to the HR & Payroll Manager this position will be required to manage the end-to-end administrative process in the employee life cycle (ELC). Create and maintain all employee data for both permanent and temporary employees on the organisation SAGE PEOPLE 300 payroll system. Ensure all payroll payments and approvals are made in line with the Company policies, processes and procedures. Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for the management of employee HR records including leave management.Prepare salary checklists & variance reports that enlist all new additions, terminations, maternity for approval by relevant managers . Check all claims, overtime and leave applications are approved in line with the policy and escalating any exceptions to the HR & Payroll Manager. Implement Earnings, Deductions, Company Contributions, Annual Bonuses, etc and import batches from Excel into SAGE PEOPLE 300. Provide administrative support for the accurate processing of all payroll 3 rd party requests Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements ( not limited to SARS and EE ); Support all audits and ensure compliance with requirements, findings and recommendations.
Relevant certificate/diploma in HR or a minimum of 5 years HR & Payroll experience Computer literate with a proficient knowledge of MS Office and payroll systems; Knowledge of SAGE People 300 is advantageous; Experience working in an NGO or similar environment will be advantageous; An understanding of relevant labour and HR legislation and other relevant international standards.
