Position Overview

The Case Management Supervisor will oversee the development and implementation of effective case management services in the project, ensuring that these services respond to the needs of the intended beneficiaries and project objectives. S/he reports to the OVC Manager and serves as the main point of contact with the project s implementing partners in the field.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise the implementation of case management activities in the OVC project, including those related to community-clinic linkages (Objective 2) and other family-centered support services (Objective 1), in line with the project s technical design and work plan.Provide technical support and guidance to implementing partners to ensure that family-centered case management services are delivered in accordance with established operation procedures and standards of quality.Support implementing partners to design and implement systems and procedures to effectively link household and community-level HIV testing, care and treatment services with those provided at clinic level.Support implementing partners to identify existing support services for beneficiary families in line with project objectives and facilitate the development and/or strengthening of an effective referral network and services.Develop and maintain strong and collaborative working relationships with implementing partners, government agencies, service providers, and other stakeholders to ensure the achievement of the project s case management objectives and targets.Participate in the assessment, strengthening, and monitoring of technical capacities of local partners related to family-centered case management and community-clinic linkages for HIV testing and services.Work with the DR ACHIEVE M&E Manager and implementing partners to ensure the development and use of systems for collecting, collating, analyzing, and using case management-related data to improve project performance and quality of services.Participate in the development of project work plans, reports, success stories, or other products.Perform other duties as requested.

Basic Requirements

Bachelor s level degree in public health, social work, or other social science or field of study related to the program scope of work required.At least five (5) years of experience with community-based programs focused on the needs of children, adolescents, and underserved populations.Familiarity with the health context and structural issues in the Dominican Republic among TPI.Experience in programming on HIV prevention, HIV testing, counseling, and other HIV-related services, and impact mitigation.Fluency in Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications

Fluency in Creole.

Experience implementing USAID and/or PEPFAR-funded health programming.

Prior experience implementing programming among TPI, with an emphasis on OVC, adolescents and/or violence prevention.

Local candidates preferred.
