Background
The purpose of this consultancy is to set up and/or update data visualization platforms and templates for the Child Protection Section, reflecting UNICEF’s child protection programmes. Data visualization includes the creation of interactive maps, dashboards, charts, graphs, tables, factsheets and infographics that will support UNICEF’s evidence-based programming, resource mobilization and communication activities, and training of UNICEF child protection staff on data visualization. The consultant will set up data visualization platforms and tools, using the appropriate technologies (test and decide between various visualization tools including Power BI, Tableau, Infogram and others) in consultation with Programme Division and other Division colleagues. The visualizations should make complex data analysis accessible, understandable and usable by different users. Through this work, the consultant will contribute to child protection data analysis, performance monitoring and reporting, and knowledge management.

The specific objectives of this consultancy are the following:
Dynamic dashboards and templates (customize and deploy an online dashboard that visualizes programme data (output) are expected as deliverables per the following child protection thematic and cross-cutting areas of work:
Each of the above-mentioned areas of work have varying needs on data visualization, based on what has already been developed. The tasks and deliverables are described in detail in the table below.

Requirements
U.S. Visa information:
With the exception of the US Citizens, G4 Visa and Green Card holders, should the selected candidate and his/her household members reside in the United States under a different visa, the consultant and his/her household members are required to change their visa status to G4, and the consultant’s household members (spouse) will require an Employment Authorization Card (EAD) to be able to work, even if he/she was authorized to work under the visa held prior to switching to G4.
