As Project Director, you will provide leadership and overall management of the Catalyzing Scale through Evidence (CASCADE) project. In this new position, you will provide leadership as CRS works to catalyze transformational change at scale by developing our influential voice to combat global poverty and inequity. Catalyzing scale is a central part of CRS’ 12-year agency strategy, Vision 2030. You will provide agency leadership in leveraging our deep programmatic experience to influence governments, private sector actors, donors, peers, and partners in humanitarian and development policies and practice. You will collaborate closely across CRS units in headquarters and the field to strengthen agency capabilities in using evidence, communication, and strategic engagement to influence stakeholders and catalyze scaling of key program approaches and impacts.

    Roles and Responsibilities
    * Support and drive CRS efforts to catalyze change at scale in priority program sectors by liaising with six CRS Strategic Change Platform teams, each of which focuses on scaling outcomes in a particular area, and through participation in the CRS Strategic Platform Advisory Group.
    * Lead all aspects of the implementation and the CASCADE project, including the project’s contributions to wider thought leadership on scaling and influence. Serve as a point of contact to the donor as well as internal and external stakeholders.
    * Provide technical leadership and guidance for country programs and sectoral teams as they seek to influence civil society, governments and the private sector, particularly through the six Strategic Change Platforms.
    * Lead the development and implementation of agency-wide strategies, standards, tools, and best practices in influence and advocacy for scale.
    * Supervise and work closely with a Senior Technical Advisor for Research and Evidence in developing approaches, models, and tools for CRS and its partners to use evidence and data to influence and guide stakeholders toward scaling.
    * Collaborate with the CRS Marketing and Communication division, Strategic Change Platform teams, and regional and country communications officers to strengthen CRS’ use of strategic communication efforts and products to enhance influence, particularly in the Strategic Change Platforms sectors.
    * Lead capacity strengthening initiatives in influence and scaling for staff and partners through developing learning and training strategies, guidance and curriculums, conducting trainings and workshops, and mentoring and coaching CRS and partners.
    * Contribute to knowledge management and learning through collecting and analyzing program data, evaluating strategic projects, assisting with measuring program impacts, and capturing and sharing lessons learned and best practices.
    * Represent CRS and the project at conferences, technical forums, and other events on scaling, influence, and translating evidence into practice at scale.
    * Engage with leading external specialists in influence, scaling, and evidence translation to share learning, build on existing approaches, and plan joint approaches where appropriate.

    Qualifications
    * Masters degree in international development, communications, advocacy or other relevant area.
    * 7 or more years’ relevant management and technical experience.
    * 5 years experience managing donor funds, including multi country grants. Strong knowledge and experience in budget management.
    * 5 years of staff management experience and abilities that are conducive to a learning environment. Experience coaching senior program staff.
    * Experience in change management, such as preparing and supporting teams and organizations in making organizational change
    * Demonstrated application of principles and concepts in influence, evidence translation, advocacy, and/or communication; general knowledge of development sectors and related disciplines.
    * Willingness to travel up to 20%.
